Family-friendly activities are always on offer in the Ryan Learning Center Art Exchange. Drop by to take part in a studio project designed by museum educators and artists. Create your own one-of-a-kind museum tour using the award-winning digital interactive, JourneyMaker. Find books, blocks, and other resources to spark your curiosity. Art Exchange activities are designed with children in mind and are open to all visitors to the museum.

Can’t make it to the museum?
If you live in the Chicago area, you can visit select Chicago Public Library branches to explore The Artist’s Studio at the Library. With engaging art-making activities that connect you to books, works in the museum’s collection, and library resources, this art-centered space encourages inspired conversations with your little ones. Take home what you make or add your creations to the community gallery in your library.
