The museum is committed to expanding the public’s access to our collection while building lifelong connections to art through its exhibitions, scholarship, and public programming. Annual Fund
Contributions to the Annual Fund are 100% tax-deductible and directly support the museum’s thousands of educational programs every year, more than 30 annual special exhibitions, and our state-of-the-art conservation efforts.

Planned Giving
A gift to the Art Institute in your will, trust, or IRA helps ensure access to the museum’s ever-growing permanent collection, world-class exhibitions, and educational programs for visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
Corporate Partner Program
Membership in the Corporate Partner Program provides your company and employees with special museum access, unique opportunities for civic involvement, and a number of other ways to engage and inspire employees and clients.
Foundations and Government

The Art Institute is grateful for a growing base of private foundations and government agencies that generously provides essential support to the museum each year.
University Partners
This membership program for colleges and universities offers students free admission 362 days a year, encouraging learning outside the classroom at one of the world’s top museums.

Antiquarian Society

This group, founded in 1877, plays an important role in the building the museum’s collection, funding acquisitions for the departments of American Art and European Decorative Arts.
Society for Contemporary Art

This group supports the museum by engaging the community in a dialogue about the art of our time and acquiring works that enrich the museum’s collection.
Woman’s Board

The Woman’s Board provides annual support for the museums and underwrites educational programming for families, students and educators, and the general public.
