Lauren Brooks (she/her/hers) currently works as a fundraising professional at Metro Theater Company in St. Louis, Missouri. Previously, Lauren worked as a school administrator at the Boston Ballet’s headquarters, where she supported the Boston Ballet School’s operations and managed the school’s part-time administrative staff, and as an administrator and a teaching artist for the Tony Award-winning regional Huntington Theatre Company in Boston. Lauren has a Master of Science in Arts Administration with a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies with a Concentration in Museum Studies from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As a freelance professional, she has worked as a choreographer, dancer, grant writer, and ghost writer. She currently manages a book review blog that serves as her love letter to international fiction.
