
Kaelyn Andrade

Kaelyn Andrade is a senior in the art and art history program at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), and works as a museum educator at the National Museum of Mexican Art. She began interning at the museum in development, and then moved to the education department where she has now been working for four years. She is in the process of helping to plan virtual and online programming for the museum to create broader access. Andrade is the youngest recipient of an art history travel grant from the UIC Department of Art History for her proposal to study regional Catholic traditions during the holy week. She is also an alumnus and avid supporter of the ChiArts community for young striving artists.
