Jad (they/them) is a fourth-year undergraduate at the University of Chicago majoring in art history with a minor in chemistry. Currently based in Boca Raton, Florida, they are working remotely as a research and writing intern for artmejo, a Jordanian arts and culture platform and online publication. They write about global contemporary art with a focus on Southwest Asia and North Africa (the SWANA region), and are interested in pursuing curatorial and conservation work in the future.
