As the inaugural exhibition of the newly renovated Jean and Steven Goldman Prints and Drawings Galleries in the Richard and Mary L. Gray Wing, Collecting for Chicago offers a survey of some of the significant print and drawing acquisitions that have been made for the Art Institute over the past 40 years. The exhibition celebrates the tradition of collecting that has made the holdings of prints and drawings at the Art Institute among the best and most celebrated in the world.
