The Art Exchange is open late on Thursdays this July! Visitors of all ages are invited to drop in and enjoy art making, creative play, and imagination-sparking activities anytime from 11:00 to 6:00. This summer, we’re creating colorful abstract drawings inspired by the work of Luchita Hurtado on view in Beyond Form: Abstraction at Midcentury.
The museum galleries are free for Illinois residents on Thursdays evenings during Free Summer Thursdays, 5:00–8:00, June 11–September 17.
Activities in the Ryan Learning Center are always free. Museum admission is always free for children under 14 and Chicago teens under 18. Learn more about free admission opportunities.
