Spain’s wealth of unforgettable art needs no introduction.

Madrid’s world-class museums and Seville’s treasure trove of classical works make for a dazzling art lovers’ pilgrimage. On November 6–11, 2026, embark on a journey to explore Spain’s extraordinary art and cultural landscape with Rebecca Long, Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Curator in Painting and Sculpture of Europe.

Marvel at the many Spanish masterpieces that have shaped art history as we explore the work of iconic Spanish artists such as El Greco, Diego Velásquez, and Francisco Goya—with a special focus on Francisco de Zurbarán ahead of a future exhibition.

We hope you’ll join us to:

  • Discover the Museo del Prado’s collection of European classical art without the crowds with a before-hours visit.
  • Explore the beauty of the Palacio de Liria while it’s closed to the public.
  • Journey to the Extremadura region to visit the outstanding Monastery of Guadalupe and enjoy dinner at its three-Michelin-star restaurant.
  • Dive into Francisco de Zurbarán’s work at the Seville Cathedral and the Museo de Bellas Artes.

Visits to various private collections and stays at luxurious hotels, including a restored 16th century palace, will round out this extraordinary adventure. Please note that our itinerary is still in production and subject to change.

This Luminary-exclusive trip is limited to 24 guests and will begin accepting interested travelers on November 12, 2025. To join us in Spain, please reach out to [email protected].
