Draw on the windows of the RLC in this activity inspired by Raqib Shaw’s monumental painting, Paradise LostThe artist has spent nearly 20 years painting the smallest details in this series of works, and in this activity, we’ll discover how our individual small drawings grow into an enormous mural.

Samra Bashir Headshot

Samra Bashir is a Pakistani American visual artist and educator based in Chicago. Her work draws from a diverse range of influences, including South Asian, Islamic, and architectural traditions. She interprets cultural and spiritual narratives through glass painting and promotes inclusive, cross-cultural art education through her workshops and creative practice.
