Project a Black Planet: The Art and Culture of Panafrica is the first major exhibition to explore Pan-Africanism’s cultural impact. Encompassing over 350 works by artists from Africa, the Americas, and Europe that span nearly a century, the exhibition reimagines Panafrica as a conceptual space for restoration, solidarity, and global independence.

Luminary are invited to join exhibition co-curators Matthew Witkovsky and Antawan Byrd for an introduction to the exhibition. Remarks will be followed by a short reception of light bites and beverages and an exhibition viewing.

This event requires advance registration and is open exclusively to Luminary members. Please note that it will occur when the museum is closed to the public, and registered guests will be provided with entry instructions in advance.
