Spectrum Colors Arranged by Chance IV (detail), 1951
Ellsworth Kelly. Margaret Fisher Endowment. ©️ Ellsworth Kelly Foundation
Embrace spontaneity and challenge the concept of intentional meaning in art by creating paper compositions inspired by the exhibition Ellsworth Kelly: Spectrum Colors Arranged by Chance. All supplies and materials for this program are included, and no experience is necessary.
Because this program includes a visit to the galleries, museum admission is required. Museum admission is free to Chicago teens under 18 and all children under 14.
Participants are encouraged to return on Friday or Saturday during Teen Open Studio, 11:00–3:00 in Studio C, to continue exploring photograms and finish any artworks still in progress from this session.
