Celebrate the highly anticipated Van Gogh and the Avant-Garde: The Modern Landscape, a major exhibition that unites works by Vincent van Gogh with those of fellow Post-Impressionists Georges Seurat, Paul Signac, Emile Bernard, and Charles Angrand, showcasing the inspiration these five interconnected artists found in the working-class suburbs of Paris and the career-changing innovations they developed there.
This event will include an open bar, light bites, and live music following an exhibition overview provided by Jacquelyn N. Coutré, the Eleanor Wood Prince Associate Curator in Painting and Sculpture of Europe. The exhibition will be open for your viewing throughout the evening.
Attendance is exclusive to Luminary members, special guests, and exhibition sponsors. Invitations will be sent to eligible individuals, and advance registration by May 26 is required. To register, contact luminary@artic.edu.
