Admission actions

  • Free with museum admission

Join postdoctoral curatorial fellow Solveig Nelson and educator Nenette Luarca-Shoaf to view and discuss Vaginal Davis’s provocative video The White to be Angry. We’ll consider the artwork’s impact and meaning in the 1980s and its continuing relevance today.

Please note: This tour has limited capacity. Participation will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

A black-and-white image shows the artist, a dark-skinned transgender woman, holding a video camera on her shoulder.
