Treasure Hunt

Explore the galleries and create a kaleidoscope of art at this family favorite program. Engage in fun activities and learn all about select works as you visit five stops located across the museum’s galleries.

On your kaleidoscope experience, you might encounter:

• Apes monkeying around to a concerto, sonata, or a rock song 
• Mountains peeking high above the clouds
• A puzzle of jewels from a crown fit for royalty
• Aquatic plants and creatures hidden beneath the water’s surface

Treasure Hunt sparks a love of art in the children and families that join us, reveals the best of the collection, and provides attendees with a new vocabulary to talk about art and creativity.
