Take a walk through the Modern Art collection with Gary C. and Frances Comer Curator of International Modern Art Caitlin Haskell, and discuss artworks that are new on view or particularly relevant. Highlights of the fall tour include artist Claude Cahun’s Object (1936); a selection of paintings by Fernand Léger offering a fresh appreciation of his scope as an artist; and Pablo Picasso’s iconic cubist portrait Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler (1910), recently returned from exhibition abroad.
