Hear from Jeffrey D. Wasson, the armorer who crafted the Art Institute’s historically accurate replica of the Greenwich armor. This project, led by Wasson and curator Jonathan Tavares, appeared in Secrets of the Shining Knight on PBS’s NOVA series, and used experimental archaeology to uncover how armorers crafted bulletproof protection.
