Exploring works of art can help students build conversation skills, grow their vocabulary, and increase their understanding of new cultural contexts, making art and art museums powerful vehicles for helping students learn English and world languages. Join our cohort of educators and local experts to discover strategies and resources for using works of art to foster language development for students of all proficiency levels.

Teacher Mini-Conferences feature a distinguished keynote presentation, dynamic sessions led by museum educators, teaching artists, and other professionals, and tested curricular resources.

This Mini-Conference will emphasize works of East Asian art. Please note, however, that the program approaches and many of the provided resources can be successfully applied to all ESL and world language instructional contexts.
