Chicago Public Library’s One Book, One Chicago in partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago, the Chicago Cultural Alliance and WBEZ 91.5 Chicago present Bounty: an exploration of themes at the intersection of culture, cuisine, agriculture and heritage.

This two-part series connects our dinner tables with people, place and tradition across cultures in response to the OBOC 2016 selection Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver. During part one of the series, join reporter Monica Eng of WBEZ 91.5 Chicago in conversation with Chicago Cultural Alliance members: the Chinese American Museum of Chicago (the Raymond B. & Jean T. Lee Center); the Haitian American Museum of Chicago; the Ethiopian Community Association of Chicago; and the Indo American Heritage Museum.

Please note this portion of the program will take place at the Harold Washington Library at 6:00. Doors at 5:30; seating in the Cindy Pritzker Auditorium is first come, first served.

Part two will be presented at the Ryerson and Burnham Libraries at the Art Institute of Chicago on Thursday, April 6.
