Jacquelyn N. Coutré is the Eleanor Wood Prince Curator in the department of Painting and Sculpture of Europe.

Romi Crawford is a professor of Visual and Critical Studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work on the Black Arts Movement in Chicago includes the exhibition The Wall of Respect: Vestiges, Shards, and the Legacy of Black Power (2017, Chicago Cultural Center) and the publications Fleeting Monuments for the Wall of Respect (2021) and The Wall of Respect: Public Art and Black Liberation in 1960s Chicago (2017). She recently co-curated, with Theaster Gates, K. Kofi Moyo and FESTAC ’77: The Activation of a Black Archive (2021, Logan Center for the Arts, University of Chicago).

Andrew Crocker was an intern in Arts of the Ancient Mediterranean and Byzantium and is now a PhD candidate at the University of Michigan.

Salvador Cruz is the senior designer of Visual Design in the Experience Design department.

Angelica Cullotta (she/her) is a McMullan Arts Leadership Intern and a graduate of Southern Illinois University–Carbondale pursuing a degree in photography.

Cansu Cürgen is an architect and scholar and co-founder of the artist collective the Ambiguous Standards Institute.

Yuheng Deng is the McMullan Arts Leadership Curatorial Intern in Arts of Asia.

Grace Deveney is the David C. and Sarajean Ruttenberg Associate Curator of Photography and Media at the Art Institute of Chicago, where she curated the exhibitions Kameelah Janan Rasheed: Unsewn Time (2023), Peter Hujar: Performance and Portraiture (2023), and Kwame Brathwaite: Things Well Worth Waiting For (2023). From 2019 to 2021 she was associate curator of Prospect.5, the fifth edition of the New Orleans triennial. Previously, she was an assistant curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, where she organized Christina Quarles (2021) and Direct Message: Art, Language, and Power (2019), among numerous other exhibitions.

Brittany Dolph Dinneen is the assistant conservator of objects at Emory University’s Michael C. Carlos Museum.

Elizabeth Dudgeon is the senior communications editor at the Art Institute of Chicago. Prior to joining the museum’s Communications department in 2015, she worked administratively in theater and film in New York. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history and drama from Northwestern University. 

Anna Dumont was the 2021–22 Mellon COSI Fellow in the Department of Textiles at the Art Institute.

Renee Engeln is a professor of instruction in the Department of Psychology and director of the “Body and Media Lab” at Northwestern University.

Marielle Epstein is the assistant director of Interpretation at the Art Institute of Chicago.
