Loren Wright
Loren Wright is an assistant director in Interpretation at the Art Institute. She works with curators and other staff across the museum to tell inclusive and accessible stories about art. In her time at the Art Institute, Loren has worked on several exhibitions, including Salvador Dali: The Image Disappears, Gio Swaby: Fresh Up, and Van Gogh and the Avant-Garde: The Modern Landscape. She also leads tours and participates in public programs, as she really enjoys engaging with visitors directly. Loren received her master’s degree in museum and exhibition studies from the University of Illinois Chicago, where her research explored new and better ways to tell Black stories in museums.
