Jason Stec

Part of the Art Institute team since 2006, Jason Stec currently is the time-based media exhibition designer on the museum’s Experience Design team. Previously he served as the departmental and film/video specialist in Modern and Contemporary Art.

Jason has contributed to many exhibitions during his tenure, including Steve McQueen (2012), focus: Hito Steyerl (2012), Frances Stark: Intimism (2015), Zhang Peili: Record, Repeat (2017), Gretchen Bender’s Total Recall (2018), and Cevdet Erek: chiçiçiçichiciçi (2019).

He attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
