Emily Olek

Emily Olek is curatorial assistant in the Department of Drawings and Prints at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. From 2017 to 2022 she was the Janet and Craig Duchossois Research Assistant in Prints and Drawings at the Art Institute of Chicago, where she worked on exhibitions and acquisitions. Projects include Hairy Who? 1966–1969 (2018–19) at the Art Institute of Chicago and, for the Pritzker Military Museum and Library, The Allied Race to Victory (2020) and the upcoming exhibition Drawn to Combat: Bill Mauldin and the Art of War.
She received her MA in art history from the University of Illinois Chicago.
