Mazzy Teich
Mazzy Teich is a McMullan Arts Leadership Intern in the Research Center and is pursuing her dual MLIS and public history graduate degree from Dominican University and Loyola University Chicago. She earned a bachelors of science degree in anthropology with a history minor from Loyola University Chicago in 2021. Academically, her interests include, but aren’t limited to, Western civilizations and culture, medieval and Renaissance history, and antiquity, with a special focus on collections and artifacts. Her original intent was to pursue archaeology, and she still does amateur archaeology in her free time, primarily in London. A Chicago native, she is a frequent museumgoer and lover of academia, even working as a librarian at her university. In her free time, she collects university sweatshirts from around the world. During her internship, Mazzy will be mentored by Jill Bugajski, executive director of the Research Center.
