Gina Giambalvo
As digital studio director, Gina Giambalvo heads up the digital production team in Experience Design at the Art Institute of Chicago, a role that harmonizes her production experience and personal passion for art beautifully. Since joining the museum in 2019, she has continued to be inspired by mission-driven work that provides expansive access to art through engaging formats like video, audio, and interactives.
Gina graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in art and media management and has continued her fine art studies through the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In addition to her work at the museum, Gina is an artist and illustrator focusing on watercolor and miniatures. Her first book will be published in December 2024.
