Ahmad Irons

Ahmad Irons (he/him) is a McMullan Arts Leadership Intern and is pursuing a bachelor’s in art history with a practice of photography and ceramics at Columbia College Chicago. Ahmad’s interests include architecture and design, photography and film, and the black diaspora. Ahmad enjoys filming his travels, shooting and developing medium format film, and creating studies with graphite and charcoal. This summer, Ahmad worked closely with and collaborated with assistant director Rachel Echiverri Rowland and associate director Leslie Wilson in the Research Center’s Academic Engagement and Research department.
