Stephanie Strother
Stephanie is a research associate in the department of Prints and Drawings, specializing in modern art of the 19th and early 20th centuries. She contributed to the digital publication Whistler Paintings and Drawings at the Art Institute of Chicago and most recently worked alongside Mark Pascale on the exhibition Four Chicago Artists: Theodore Halkin, Evelyn Statsinger, Barbara Rossi, and Christina Ramberg.
Stephanie holds a master’s degree from the Courtauld Institute in London and is currently working toward a PhD in art history at the University of Chicago. Her dissertation focuses on the Atelier Martine, a Paris-based decorative arts workshop founded in 1911 by leading fashion designer Paul Poiret.
