Alice Yasi Xie
Alice Yasi Xie is the McMullan Arts Leadership intern in Arts of Asia. She is currently a first-year graduate student in modern and contemporary art history at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She received her BA with a double major in statistics and history of art with honors from UC Berkeley. Alice’s research interest lies in the early diasporic history of Asian Americans and the visual history of the illustration of China/Chinese-ness in the West.
