Hamin Kim

Hamin Kim (she/her) is a former Korea Foundation curatorial intern at the Art Institute of Chicago. She received her master’s degree in history of art, focusing on art, politics, transgression, and the 20th-century avant-garde, from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, and her bachelor’s degree with a double major in clothing and textiles and art history from Ewha Womans University, South Korea. Kim is interested in Korean modern and contemporary art, especially the 1960–70s experimental art and the history of performance in Korea. She previously held positions at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA), and the Whanki Museum.
