Ana Nieves

Ana Nieves is an art historian whose work focuses on the ancient civilizations of the south coast of Peru. Her research has centered primarily on the documentation and analysis of rock art in the Rio Grande de Nasca drainage, incorporating Reflectance Transformation Imaging and Photogrammetry in her documentation methods. Ana Nieves holds a PhD in art history from the University of Texas at Austin and is associate professor of art history in the Art and Design Department at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago.
