Arianna Ray

Arianna Ray was the 2021–22 Mellon Foundation COSI Intern in Painting and Sculpture of Europe and is a PhD Candidate in art history at Northwestern University. She specializes in early modern European art with a particular interest in its Atlantic connections. At the Art Institute, she was mentored by Jacquelyn Coutré, Eleanor Wood Prince Associate Curator, and worked with the collection of 17th-century Dutch paintings.
