Thea Liberty Nichols is the associate research curator, Modern and Contemporary Art. Her work for the Art Institute of Chicago includes co-organizing Hairy Who? 1966–1969 (2018) with Ann Goldstein and Mark Pascale, and support for Andy Warhol: From A to B and Back Again (2019); Gray Collection: Pure Drawing (2020); and Ray Johnson c/o (2021). Most recently, she is co-organizing Christina Ramberg: A Retrospective with Pascale, opening April 2024.
