About this artwork
This print presents artistic paeans to the American Southwest and reflects the body of work Baumann produced during his trip to the Grand Canyon in 1921. Bright Angel Trail captures a view from the Bright Angel hiking trail, Baumann depicted the canyon’s craggy peaks and steep walls with vivid tones of russet, purple, and green.
