About this artwork

Marin would continue to experiment with kinetic fields of etched lines as he produced prints of increasing freedom and dynamism, including Trinity Churchyard; Weehawken, No. 1; and Brooklyn Bridge from Brooklyn (The Sun). These activated linear systems also found their way into his watercolors, where black drawing media and colored pigment combined to create energized interpretations of space and location.
