About this artwork
Born in Russia, but raised and trained in Chicago, architect Maurice L. Bein was known mainly for his apartment house and residential hotel designs. This small collection consists of Bein’s papers and photographs. The professional papers and photographs of Bein’s buildings provide an overview of his professional practice, while the journal articles and unidentified building photographs suggest his concerns and influences.
