About this artwork
Open Shore is the winning proposal for the competition to redesign the waterfront in West Palm Beach in Miami. Each of the triptychs presented here shows a specific strategy and typology of urban intervention to renew and reactivate the whole waterfront culturally, socially, and environmentally. The Banyan Hub occupies a former garage. By reusing the existing structures, the space is reimagined as a new focal point for activities in downtown that will be open to the public day and night, from the ground floor to the roof terrace.
