About this artwork

The design studio Bless produces work that falls within and between the categories of fashion, beauty, interior decor, and art. The ToC Pillowdo playfully visualizes a typical bike helmet’s cushioning function. It comes from the Bless No. 46 Contemporary Remediation collection. For this series Bless disrupted the traditional business model of a fashion house by requesting wish lists from clients and creating pieces in response. The firm produced this pillow helmet for Portland-based design shop Table of Contents as part of a set of bike accessories.
