About this artwork

The series of prints issued to commemorate Cardinal-Infante Ferdinand’s triumphal entry into Antwerp included not only representations of the temporary architecture that was erected for that procession, but also this genealogical tree, which further asserted Ferdinand’s right to rule through dynastic accession.
