About this artwork

In these projects Archeworks and MRVDV proposed alternative interventions (focused on issues such as local food) in the fabric of urban space and experience. Gather Give Grow is a short animation highlighting Archeworks’s Mobile Food Collective—a proposal showcased in the US Pavilion at the 12th International Architecture Exhibition of the 2010 Venice Biennale. Aware of the social, economic, and health benefits associated with local food, Archeworks designed a family of flexible mobile structures intended to support local food production.
