Inscriptions

高尚書畫先從董巨,晚參 南宮,是董米兩家之意。瑛。 Paintings of Gao Shangshu initially followed the styles of Dong Yuan and Juran; later the style of Nangong (Mi Fu, 1051–1107) was consulted. Thus Gao’s painting displays the styles of both Dong and Mi. Ying.
