Hitler, overcome with fear, Did fortune-telling at the New Year. He sits down, mumbles “Forty-Five, What will it mean for me?" He melted wax on the platter. A shadow was cast upon the wall. “What is it? What is it? Oh! A noose! For me?” “For me!” he cried like one possessed. “Here… a noose … above my head! Forty-five, forty-five – The year of fateful retribution!”
