About this artwork

This group print was created using the Surrealist game the Exquisite Corpse, wherein a drawn composition was divided by a number of players and each participant drew a body section from head to toes, hiding his or her contribution from subsequent players. The end result was a surprise to all. This is a rare example of a print made using this process.
The title was also devised in the same way, echoing the poetic brainstorming initiated by the Surrealists. This work is a testament to the mutual admiration of Vera Berdich and her students.
