About this artwork

After it was introduced to the American public in 1928, the Ruba Rombic line of glass tableware was acclaimed for its highly inventive forms. Consisting of 37 pieces available in several different colors, including this jade green vase, the Ruba Rombic pattern not only embodied the frenetic spirit of the 1920s, but also captured the dramatic angles and geometric planes of Cubism.
