About this artwork
The front (obverse) of this coin portrays the head of Emperor Trajan, facing right, laureate. The back (reverse) depicts a triumphal arch with four columns, three arches: Trajan in center above triangle; architrave with disc, Nike supporting, capitives and trophies to his side.
