Free Winter Weekdays

January 6–March 14, 2025

We’re excited to start the New Year with Free Winter Weekdays, offering Illinois residents free admission every Monday, Thursday, and Friday—all day long—thanks to support from Health Care Service Corporation.


Plus, beginning March 5, 2025, we will also be open on Wednesdays, which means that Wednesdays, March 5, and March 12, will also be part of our 2025 Free Winter Weekdays.

    Staubin article From Looted to Restituted: Journey of a Drawing from Paris to Chicago

    Provenance research starts with a work of art and seeks to document its backstory, no matter how elusive.
