Overview of Macintosh desktop
Technical Objectives:
Students will gain understanding of digital video- using panasonic cameras, shooting, importing video into iMovie, basic editing and output to Quicktime format (.mov extension).
Group: In groups of 3-4, create a one minute Quicktime movie that deals directly or abstractly with this word: CONSUME.
Save to CD and zip. Suggestion: perhaps choose a format: a testimonial, a commercial spoof, infomercial/documentary, small claims court, digital sitcom/comic strip, ficticious fast food restaurant, etc.
*Teaching Assistant will prepare a master tape of each movie composed in class.
HOMEWORK:
• Email CLASS one website (with a short explanation) that deals in an interesting way with the topic: "CONSUME."
• Finsh Survey if you didn't in class

• purchase spiral notebook or bound composition book (bring daily to class)
• purchase ZIP disks (MAC formatted, 100MB, 2 to start with; always back up your work on 2 disks)
