Many of the stars of soap went on to be tv sitcom staples. Soap was a little before my time, so I actually knew them from their later shows first. Jessica Tate is, of corse, the lovely Mona from Who's the Boss?. Harry Campbell is ---- from Empty Nest. ---- is his daughter ----- on Empty Nest (the other daughter was Kristy McNichol. Benson, of course, had his own spin-off.
