Haitian & American Artist Echange

Festival Muzik Jakmel

Flo taught a stencil workshop the week before the concert. This is an exhibition of student work in the FOSAJ courtyard. This was installed the day the concert opened so people could come up from the beach and enjoy the art before the concert.

Kate (the boss) asked for a 30 foot by 15 foot Haitian flag for a stage backdrop. Sue took FOSAJ over every night the week before the concert. It was the only time when the place was not a zoo of organizers and performers.

After the near death of Alex and Sue as they tried putting the flag up, it was placed by the VIP for the locals to enjoy.

Most of the time we helped out by filling in the holes. When we realized there was a job to do we jumped on it. This was a backdrop for the press conference.

After the flag was finished Sue grabbed the FOSAJ digital camera and started documenting for the school. This is Jeremy(FOSAJ), Stephen and Damian Marley during the press conference.
