Ebby and Bayard are traveling to New York to work on the set of Ayiti Ayiti. This is a documentay started in Haiti . Ebby will also be screening a film, "Miss Body Plastik" at the World Nomad Haiti festival, that he directed and Bayard plays a character in. The Haitian & American Artist Exchange is a grassroots cultural exchange between American artists and artists from Jacmel, Haiti. The collaboration began in Haiti when 8 artists worked together at the Foundation Art Center of Jacmel (FOSAJ) to help facilitate various creative workshops and other endeavors related to the International Music Festival that took place May 2007. Through this experience the eight artists found a common creative thread and formulated a desire and a pact to create a collaborative traveling show together in the US. and Haiti. We continue to collaborate in order to share our views of our homes and lives. We hope that our efforts will widen the understanding of the veiwer and expand the connection between the two cultures.
