Students apply to participate in the New York Studio Program through the Off-Campus Programs office. The program is sponsored by the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD). Concurrent enrollment in ARTHI 4007 required.

OFFCAMP 4008
Off-Campus Study: General Elective

In consultation with faculty advisors and the Off-Campus Programs office, undergraduate students may design an independent study curriculum that enables them to spend up to two semesters (30 credit hours) in a foreign country or at another school in United States. Students are encouraged to take advantage of resources available through the School’s exchanges with approximately forty schools internationally and twenty in the United States. Most projects involve some documentation in the form of photography, film, slides of studio work, or a paper, to merit credit. Approval of the director of Off-Campus Programs is required.
