Maximum Credit Breakdown

Exhibition Studies courses are offered by a number of departments/programs in the School, and can be built into any of the graduate degree programs offered. What follows is a breakdown of how these credits can be counted. Please note that in every case this is subject to the approval of the respective Program/Department Chair.

Arts Administration (degree is 48 credits total)
Electives 12 credits any Exhibition Studies course
Internship 6 credits can be exhibition related*
Thesis

6 credits

can be exhibition related*

Art History (degree is 36 credits total)
Graduate Seminar 6 credits any Exhibition Studies Course
Electives 18 credits any Exhibition Studies Course which carries Art History credit
Art Education (degree is 36 credits total)
Emphasis Area Electives 9 credits any Exhibition Studies Course
Fieldwork/
Internship
3 credits can be exhibition-related*
Thesis 6 credits can be exhibition-related*
Historic Preservation (degree is 60 credits total)
Electives 12 credits any Exhibition Studies Course
Thesis 6 credits can be exhibition-related*
Interior Architecture (degree is 60 credits total)

*"Can be exhibition-related" means that the student can develop an Internship and/or Thesis project which is in an exhibition-related area.
